• Job Title: Warehouse Casual (Seasonal)

Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for unloading and putting away inbound freight
  • Responsible for filling customer and sales orders
  • Responsible for replenishment activities
  • Responsible for loading outbound product on trucks and organizing according to loading standards
  • Required to meet all productivity standards
  • Maintain work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations
  • Know, understand, and abide by all Federal and State laws pertaining to alcoholic beverages
  • Understand and comply with all State and Federal regulations regarding the sale and promotion of assigned products
  • Attend, participate, and complete all company regulatory and required trainings
  • May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned

Essential Characteristics

  • Must have the ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced warehouse environment
  • Must have good communication skills and have the ability to work well with others. Utilization of a team approach in all aspects of performance is essential
  • Working knowledge of computer operating systems, including WMS (Warehouse Management Systems) a plus
  • Must be able to work in a warehouse setting and comfortable working with letters and numbers
  • Able to work flexible hours and available for overtime should a need arise
  • Experience operating pallet jacks, forklifts, reach trucks and other material handling equipment a plus
  • Ability to lift heavy objects up to 60 pounds and satisfy the requirements of a Major Brands ‘fit for duty’ exam
  • Ability to stand or walk for extended periods of time

Education and Experience:

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Warehouse and/or shipping clerk experience preferred
