Primary Responsibilities

  • Responsible for delivering results by managing designated customer accounts and achieving sales, marketing and distribution goals/quotas
  • Develop productive business relationships with all customers; must be able to uncover and understand customers needs while providing responsive customer service at all times
  • Responsible for growing market share in designated accounts
  • Responsible for securing displays – both store and back bar
  • Responsible for providing accurate and timely communication to management of sales and market related issues affecting successful performance
  • Responsible for keeping current on all training initiatives, product knowledge and sales training; staying abreast of industry trends
  • Maintains detailed sales, marketing and merchandising records for all assigned accounts and uses them to plan, execute and evaluate sales calls
  • Ability to deliver effective professional sales presentations
  • Responsible for maintaining accurate accounting of cash/checks received from customers at all times
  • Responsible for attending sales meetings and participating in any efforts beyond standard working hours to help achieve company goals
  • Know, understand, and abide by all Federal and State laws pertaining to alcoholic beverages
  • Understand and comply with all State and Federal regulations regarding the sale and promotion of assigned products
  • Attend, participate, and complete all company regulatory and required trainings
  • May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned

  • Proficiency in various technology platforms:  Diver, ROE, electronic POS order, etc.
  • Superior research and follow-up skills required
  • Must have a clear driving record in accordance with Major Brands’ Driving Policy
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 1-2 years Route Sales and/or Retail Sales experience a plus
