Primary Responsibilities

  • Oversee and direct sales of dedicated, On-Premise Constellation Brands portfolio with On Premise Sales Managers, On Premise Sales Representatives and consistently verifying sales priorities are being supported
  • Develop productive business relationships with all customers; assist Sales Representatives with maintaining customer relationships.  Solicit customer feedback to ensure high-level of customer service
  • Flawlessly execute Constellation portfolio brand standards in key on-premise accounts
  • Identify and communicate opportunities for incremental sales in designated Constellation Brands portfolio
  • Assist in monitoring sales performance through analysis of goals/quotas and accompanying Sales Representatives on sales calls
  • Create personal relationships with targeted key accounts; this includes regular visits to truly differentiate markets
  • Influence On-premise Sales Manager and Sales Representatives despite lack of direct reporting structure
  • Coordinate promotions with Sales Representatives to maximize sales
  • Ensure adequate / required quantities of product have been purchased by the account to cover / qualify for the promotion
  • Lead the sell-in of promotions and demos with all Sales Representatives
  • Assist Sales Representatives with the resolution of sales and market-related issues
  • Responsible for coordinating, organizing and participating in customer special-events, including staff training, winemaker visits and blitzes
  • Know, understand, and abide by all Federal and State laws pertaining to alcoholic beverages
  • Understand and comply with all State and Federal regulations regarding the sale and promotion of assigned products
  • Attend, participate, and complete all company regulatory and required trainings
  • May be required to perform other duties as requested, directed or assigned

  • Superior research and follow-up skills required
  • Must have a clear driving record in accordance with Major Brands’ Driving Policy
  • Ability to lift 40 pounds

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required
  • 3 + years Route Sales and/or Retail Sales experience a plus
  • Supervisory experience a plus
  • Certified Specialist of Wine (CSW) certification a plus
