Primary Responsibilities

  • Participate on cross-functional teams to implement ERP, legacy system and process enhancements
  • Create and develop financial reporting within ERP system
  • Data mine capabilities to be able to follow and map transactions within the ERP system
  • Develop and review existing policies and procedures, review process, research transactions, create/modify documentation
  • Assist with internal and outside audits as needed
  • Assist with month-end close process with financial reporting, some journal entries, reconciliations, and researching variance analysis and provide explanations
  • Assist the Accounting Manager with creating supporting schedules for budgets and forecasts
  • Drive improvements in Accounting controls and time to close
  • Streamline and automate processes and reporting to drive Company financial performance, generate efficiencies and improve quality
  • Assist with banking, including positive pay and ACH payments
  • Perform Ad Hoc reporting for senior management
  • Cross train as back-up for other staff
  • Know, understand, and abide by all Federal and State laws pertaining to alcoholic beverages
  • Understand and comply with all State and Federal regulations regarding the sale and promotion of assigned products
  • Attend, participate, and complete all company regulatory and required trainings
  • May be required to perform other duties or special projects as requested, directed or assigned

  • Must have advanced skills in Microsoft Windows environment. Specifically with Excel (PivotTables, reference to external databases, and complex formulas, along with numerous analyses and spreadsheet projects are expected, and required to achieve success in the position

  • Must be able to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
  • Must be able to solve complex problems and complete project responsibilities accurately and in a timely manner

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field required
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in business, accounting, or financial analysis
  • Strong understanding of accounting processes, procedure, and internal controls
  • Experience with an ERP system; Microsoft D365 a plus
