• Job Title: Financial Analyst (Inventory)

Primary Responsibilities

  • Analysis of inventory KPI’s, carrying values and days-on-hand
  • Financial modeling and dash boarding
  • Extracting data from various databases and software to facilitate reporting and analysis
  • Cycle count program analysis and reporting
  • Inventory shrinkage analysis and reporting
  • Process improvement initiatives to support inventory and operations’ related activities
  • Cost/benefit analysis
  • Assisting management in determining financial impact of on-going and potential activities
  • Define project initiatives and provide recommendations to management
  • Document procedures and create Standard Operating Procedures
  • Administrative functions to assist other team members
  • Know, understand, and abide by all Federal and State laws pertaining to alcoholic beverages
  • Understand and comply with all State and Federal regulations regarding the sale and promotion of assigned products
  • Attend, participate, and complete all company regulatory and required trainings
  • May be required to perform other duties or special projects as requested, directed or assign

  • Must have advanced skills in Microsoft Windows environment. Specifically with Excel (PivotTables, reference to external databases, and complex formulas, along with numerous analyses and spreadsheet projects are expected, and required to achieve success in the position
  • Must be able to meet deadlines and manage competing priorities
  • Must be able to solve complex problems and complete project responsibilities accurately and in a timely manner
  • Must have clear driving record in accordance with Major Brands’ Driving Policy

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in business or related field (or 4 years of relevant experience if no Bachelor’s Degree) required
  • Experience in the distribution industry a plus
